Chief Executive Officer
Mike Hyland was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2014, bringing with him 20 years of experience and a sound history of nonprofit leadership. He most recently served as the Vice President of Adult Programs at Kennedy-Donovan Center where he oversaw the comprehensive clinical models supporting adults with developmental disabilities and youth with histories of abuse, abandonment and disabilities. Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and a Master of Social Work from Boston College.

Chief Financial Officer
Dot has been with the agency for more than 35 years, and most recently served as Interim CEO while the agency’s Board of Directors undertook a nationwide search for a new Chief Executive Officer. She was promoted to Assistant Chief Executive Officer in January 2013. Dot began working at Venture in 1982, and has overseen its growth from a small regional non-profit to a $32 million agency with a statewide presence.
Vice President of Property Management & Information Technology
Tiffany, who has been with the agency since 2002, oversees property management for the organization’s Sturbridge headquarters and day habilitation program, its day habilitation program in Leominster, and the 43 residences it operates from Western Massachusetts to suburban Boston. She also coordinates communications and technology between all of Venture’s properties. She previously worked as the Executive Assistant to the agency’s CEO.
Vice President of Clinical Services
Kevin is responsible for overseeing Clinical Services throughout the agency. Previously, Kevin worked as a Behavior Analyst for the agency. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bridgewater State University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. He completed further post graduate work at Western New England University in Springfield, Massachusetts in order to fulfill the requirements necessary to receive his Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certificate.
Director of Community Engagement
Paige joined the agency’s leadership staff as their first development director in 2014.She was previously employed as a Development Associate at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City.Prior to that, she worked as an Assistant Supervisor in a residential program for the National Institute for People with Disabilities in New York and as the Marketing & Development Manager for W.H.Y. M.E. Inc. in Worcester, Massachusetts. Paige earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from Long Island University in Brookville, New York.
Vice President of Marketing
Kerrie has been working as the marketing director for Venture since 2004. In October 2013, she was promoted to the senior leadership team. Kerrie is responsible for community relations, producing printed marketing materials, advertising, communications, and managing the organization’s social media presence. Kerrie alsospearheaded a major rebranding process to produce a new name, logo, and mission statement for the organization. Prior to her position at Venture, she worked as Marketing & Events Manager for the Publick House Historic Inn in Sturbridge, Massachusetts and as a Channel Marketing Manager for Digital Equipment Corporation in Acton, Massachusetts. Kerrie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Westfield State University.
Shaunna is responsible for overseeing all of the agency’s HR initiatives compliance, while ensuring HR is aligned with Venture’s vision. Shaunna brings over 15 years of professional experience to Venture and has a strong history of human resource management that includes strategic initiatives, employee retention programs, labor relations, policy management and employee development. She most recently served as The Director of Human Resources for Wellmore Behavioral Health where she served an employee base of 350 people who provided clinical and home-based treatment to those in need. Shaunna has also held positions in the HR field at Community Health Resources, The Metropolitan District and American Medical Response. She has served on the Diversity Committee of the Human Resources Association of Central Connecticut, the African- American Affairs Commission and on the board of Jewish Family Services. Shaunna received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development & Family Resources from University of Connecticut in Storrs and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of New Haven as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT.
Vice President of Quality Assurance
Kyle is responsible for implementing an effective continuous improvement plan which will ensure the the health and safety of individuals supported by Venture. Murray brings 20 years of extensive experience to the organization and a sound history of overseeing services for various human services populations. He most recently served as the Director of Neuro-Behavioral Services at the Neuro Rehab Center in Worcester, where he oversaw a department that supported individuals with traumatic brain injuries and mental health concerns. Prior to that, he was the Director of Residential Services at Aditus, Inc., a Program Director at Brightside for Children and Families, and the Director of Behavioral Services at Options Unlimited. Kyle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut and his Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Chief Program Officer
Pam is responsible for division wide operations and service delivery oversight for 45 Community Residences, 3 Day Programs, Shared Living, Adult Foster Care, In Home & Employment Supports and Affiliate Services. She is be the primary business liaison to all outside stakeholders and ensures the execution of deliverables associated with strategic initiatives for the department. Pam brings over 25 years of professional experience to Venture and has strong history of management and oversight in the human services field. She most recently served as the Regional Director for The Kennedy-Donovan Center’s New Bedford adult programs which included Shared Living, Adult Foster Care, Acquired Brain Injury, Individual Supports, Day Habilitation and Intensive Flexible Family Supports. She also provided program supervision at locations in Milford and throughout Cape Cod. Prior to her tenure at Kennedy-Donovan Center, Pam was employed with Alternatives Unlimited in Whitinsville and held various positions from Residential Counselor and Residential Coordinator to Director of Program Development for Community Based Day and Employment Supports. Pam received a Graduate Certificate in Non-profit Administration and Finance from Suffolk University in Boston and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Business Administration from New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire.
